The Neighborhood Design Center has received a $10,000 “Green Grant” from BGE for sustainable outreach in the Greater Homewood Community! The grant will fund the activities of NDC’s VISTA Volunteer, Matthew Ragazzo, for the 2013-2014 project year.
Matt will be working to spread the word about sustainable construction techniques and systems. The construction or renovation process is a great opportunity for home and small business owners to make sustainable choices that pay dividends to both them and the environment. Matt will help homeowners with those choices and document the challenges faced when implementing sustainable systems in Baltimore neighborhoods.
