In 2022, the River East Design Center (REDC) teamed up with us to create a mobile Small Business Kiosk for the 11th Street Bridge Park. This initiative, led by REDC Executive Director Anna McCorvey and Project Manager Sophie Morley, has proven to be a resounding success, providing a platform for local businesses and entrepreneurs to flourish.

The first kiosk has already made a significant impact, and we’re thrilled to announce that a second kiosk is currently in development. This project is a cornerstone of the park’s equitable development plan, ensuring that it remains accessible and inclusive to the surrounding community.

Anna, who also serves as the Senior Equitable Development Manager for the 11th Street Bridge Park, emphasized the importance of community-centered design principles and the role of practitioners in supporting local expertise. She expressed her satisfaction with the project:

“It was incredibly rewarding to collaborate with NDC on this initiative and witness our shared vision become a reality.”
