Middle Branch Park is along the water, where wind gusts may reach up to 40 mph. Our priority is the safety of participants, and we hope you’ll be able to join us just one day later, same time, same place!
Please check in with everyone on your team to make sure they’ve received this update. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to work
alongside you! Please contact Sarah Holter at sholter@ndc-md.org with any questions.
In the joyful spirit of service and friendly competition, Neighborhood Design Center will host the “Trash Dash,” a team Cleanup Contest on April 1, 2023, where groups compete to see who can pick up the most litter, AND raise funds for Neighborhood Design Center — with prizes for most trash collected, best team spirit, most funds raised and best ‘found object’.
Since our founding, the Neighborhood Design Center has worked on more than 4,000 projects that support the development of healthy, thriving, and equitable neighborhoods.
We’ve done this in collaboration with visionary residents, design experts, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations in Baltimore City, Prince George’s County, and beyond.
So how can you get involved? Join the movement, gather a team and see how much watershed cleaning you can do in 1 hour — competitively, of course!
Winners get a handmade trophy, swag, admiration, and potentially a few disgruntled glances from your defeated opponents. We’ll be sure to fuel up beforehand with breakfast and refreshments.
