Cherry blossoms are a staple in our area, but you don’t have to travel down to Washington, DC to capture this magical season during #peakbloom
Our map shows the cherry trees that are in right-of-ways owned by Prince George’s County DPW&T. The cherries that are currently blooming are the Okame cherries — they have been growing in popularity over the years.
So enjoy the beautiful Spring weather and head out to enjoy these trees! A majority of these trees were designed for communities by the Neighborhood Design Center since 2011.
