Join Us for “Solstice Glow” Mural Ribbon Cutting

This week, we celebrated the completion of “Solstice Glow” by Chalk Riot. Today marks the official debut of a new large-scale street mural on Bunker Hill Road, transforming the corridor outside Joe’s Movement Emporium into a safer, more welcoming gateway to Mount Rainier.

Join us October 24 at 5pm for the official ribbon cutting and celebration of this vibrant new community landmark!

Through our Made you Look program, this Art in the Right of Way installation brought neighbors, artists, and partners together to reimagine the intersection of Bunker Hill Road and 33rd Street — where kids and families cross the street daily.

The result? A bold, geometric mural that doesn’t just brighten the street. It slows traffic, sparks pride, and reflects the energy of Mount Rainier.
