June 8 and 9, 2018
The Association for Community Design’s annual conference is coming to Baltimore next summer, in conjunction with our 50th year! NDC is hosting Reverberations to provide a platform for broad conversation about strategies to dismantle systemic conditions that continue to give rise to inequality. Many of the problems in under-invested communities that inspired the community design movement 50 years ago persist today. This convening will critically reflect on the state of community design past and present in order to best serve our communities in the future. By building skills, honing cross-disciplinary techniques, and openly examining on the ground experiences, we will deepen and amplify our understanding and influence at the intersection of community design, racial equity, and environmental justice. Stay tuned for more ways to become involved in planning for next year.
