2022 Annual Awards & Volunteer Celebration!

Sunday, June 5th, 2022 from 5-8pm at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland.

This event is rooted in sharing the stories and uplifting the efforts of Neighborhood Design Center volunteers and community partners. Awards will be presented to community advocates, design volunteers, long-standing partners, project champions, and visionary leaders.

Food?
 Delicious hors d’oeuvres and light fare from Hoopla catering. 
Drinks? Unlimited. Beer and Wine provided by UNION Craft Brewing and Winesellers, Ltd.
Music? Live music by Ray Winder
Museum access?
 Guests will have access to the third floor exhibit during the event. If you’d like to arrive early and visit other exhibits, you can purchase tickets online or at the door. Please note that the museum closes at 5pm.
Dress code? Dressy casual, but wear what makes you comfortable!
Socially distanced? We will have a combination of indoor and outdoor space; the Museum cafe has an outdoor terrace. Food and drink will be served inside and outside. Masks are encouraged. There will be seating for eating outdoors.
Accessibility? The building has an elevator to the third floor, and all spaces are wheelchair accessible. 
Parking? Abundant metered parking, which is handicapped accessible, is available on Covington Street and Key Highway. Bike parking is adjacent to the museum main entrance.
Event Entrance: Enter at the museum’s side door, accessed from Covington Street, across from the basketball courts.
Silent Auction!? We will have locally sourced auction items available for on-site bidding! Work by renowned artists Imar Hutchinson, Gaia, Ben Skinner, Oliver Munday and Jessie and Katey are included, as well as local restaurant and experience gift cards and tickets. Winners will be announced at 7:45 pm.
