After carefully monitoring the path of Hurricane Ian, we’ve decided to put safety first and reschedule Bike the Sites to Saturday, October 8th. Much of the route is along the Anacostia, and our greatest concern is the safety of riders in the event of a flash flood.
While Bike the Sites tickets are refundable, your ticket purchase directly supports The Neighborhood Design Center’s community led design. If you are unable to attend, we will categorize your ticket purchase as a donation unless otherwise requested. If you would like a refund, please contact Sarah Holter at sholter@ndc-md.org by October 8th.
We’re ‘gearing’ up for our second annual Bike the Sites on Saturday, October 8th! This year’s bike excursion will guide participants to NDC community partner projects throughout the Hyattsville region of Prince George’s County.
We’ll visit ten sites over the course of 10 miles! You’ll hear from local leaders and designers about powerful community partner projects, including the following:
Cottage City Community Park
Calvert Memorial Park

And will finish at Driskell Park around 12:30pm
