Sonja Ewing AICP, current NDC Board member, is a planner at Prince George’s County Parks Department of the Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC). Sonja has a rich background and extensive experience as an urban planner, urban designer, college professor, and urban planning consultant in both urban and suburban settings.

NDC thrives because of the efforts of our board members. For the next 3 years, if you join us, here are some of the requirements of board service:
+ Understanding NDC’s mission, history, constituencies, projects, and core values.
+ Attending and participating in Board meetings (6 per year), committees, and activities.
+ Being an advocate for NDC, its mission, programs, and accomplishments.
+ Helping identify potential opportunities for new projects, partnerships, supporters, and volunteers.
+ Supporting NDC financially by participating in fundraising including: soliciting volunteers, sponsors, donors, and by making a personal contribution.
