Last year, you helped raise over $20,000 for the Neighborhood Design Center! Because of your generous support, we were able to grow and continue our work on community-driven projects that further our mission of supporting healthy and equitable neighborhoods.
Take a look at some of the projects you helped make possible across Baltimore and Prince George’s County this year.
In 2022 alone, our Landscape and Urban Forestry Team engaged 1100 residents and 560 students in workshops, surveys, and street conversations.
We designed 75 climate resilient landscapes, which will increase infiltration of stormwater, tree canopy coverage, and native planting for pollinators and other wildlife.
And as always, NDC works directly with the communities we serve to ensure that our recommendations are the perfect fit for each neighborhood.
Your donations provide power to these communities and help us provide access to resources and create safe spaces that improve wellness and mental health.
